Important Notice: TradingRuleBook is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. This platform does not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, or financial advisory services. All trading decisions are made solely by the user. Trading in financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss.

1. No Investment Advice

TradingRuleBook is a software tool that automates the enforcement of trading rules defined by the user. Nothing on this platform, in our communications, or in any alerts generated by the Service constitutes:

  • Investment advice or financial advice of any kind
  • A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or financial instrument
  • A solicitation or offer to buy or sell any financial instrument
  • A trading signal, market prediction, or price forecast
  • Portfolio management or discretionary investment management

All rules enforced by the platform are defined entirely by the user. TradingRuleBook has no role in determining what, when, or how you trade.

2. General Trading Risk

Trading in equities, derivatives, options, futures, and other financial instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. You should be aware that:

  • You may lose all or a significant portion of your invested capital
  • Leverage and derivatives can amplify both gains and losses
  • Past market behaviour does not guarantee future results
  • Market conditions can change rapidly and unpredictably
  • Options and futures can expire worthless, resulting in total loss of premium paid
  • Intraday trading carries higher risk than positional trading due to short holding periods

You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose and should seek independent financial advice if you are uncertain about the suitability of trading for your personal financial situation.

3. Tool Limitations

TradingRuleBook is a technical enforcement tool with inherent limitations. Users must understand that:

  • The Service depends on third-party broker APIs to monitor positions and execute orders. API failures or delays may affect enforcement
  • Rule enforcement actions (position closures) are executed as market orders, which may result in slippage, especially in illiquid instruments or volatile market conditions
  • System latency between a rule trigger and order execution may result in losses beyond a defined limit during periods of extreme market volatility
  • Service unavailability due to technical issues, maintenance, or infrastructure failures may temporarily prevent enforcement
  • The platform enforces rules only within the scope of what broker APIs permit. Certain order types or instruments may not be fully supported
⚠️

TradingRuleBook does not guarantee that your losses will be limited to the amounts you define in your rule settings. Market conditions, execution delays, and technical limitations may result in actual losses exceeding defined thresholds.

4. Execution Risk

When TradingRuleBook places orders on your behalf following a rule trigger, those orders are subject to standard market execution risks, including:

  • Slippage: The execution price may differ from the price at the time of the trigger, particularly in fast-moving or illiquid markets
  • Partial fills: Orders may not be fully executed if liquidity is insufficient
  • Broker-side delays: Order placement and confirmation is subject to the broker's own systems and network conditions
  • Circuit breakers and trading halts: Orders may not execute if the instrument or market is subject to a trading halt

TradingRuleBook is not responsible for losses arising from execution risk associated with enforcement order placement.

5. Past Performance

Any statistics, case studies, user testimonials, or metrics presented on the TradingRuleBook platform or website — including references to capital saved or consistency improvements — represent the experiences of specific users under specific market conditions. They do not constitute a guarantee, projection, or indication of future results.

Individual outcomes will vary based on trading strategy, market conditions, instrument selection, position sizes, and the specific rules configured by each user.

6. Regulatory Notice

TradingRuleBook is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser, portfolio manager, research analyst, or in any other regulated capacity.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their own trading activities comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including but not limited to SEBI regulations, Income Tax Act requirements, and any applicable exchange rules.

TradingRuleBook does not guarantee:

  • Profitable trading outcomes for any user
  • That the use of the Service will prevent financial loss
  • That loss limits will be enforced with zero slippage or at exactly the defined threshold
  • Uninterrupted operation of the Service during market hours
